Daily quests
- How many people actually do all their daily quests?
- Positive feedback! People don’t actually do them all but want to see more…
- if there are more types most people would be more likely to do them
- Add a reminder in chat that you have daily quests to do
- What are more daily quests you’d like to see?
- Some ideas we’ve had: short fetch/delivery quests, riddles to find specific locations
- Hidden Mickey quests!
- More delivery quests
- If you complete all your dailies you get an additional ride multiplier for the day
- Potential feature suggestion: Let people passively work on dailies, don’t have to click to activate them so they can work on all/any at once
1.17 update → 1.19 update
- Still being worked on, a lot of it is visual stuff that’s gradual (not one big release date)
- It’s difficult to keep the server performance up while performing these upgrades, but still trying to gradually figure it out
Ride captions are coming very soon to more rides
- We have a team that’s working very hard on adding them!
- Goal is that all rides will eventually have captions

Boosters
- Releasing global and personal boosters on buycraft
- Global boosters: everyone on the ride with you will get the booster
- Personal ones follow you to any ride
- If you activate a personal booster and then log off, it’ll wait for you to log back on to continue counting down
- Voting booster
- If you vote on all sites you’ll get a booster for next 24 hours
- Weekly booster
- Every week you get to claim 1 booster that will activate on a ride for the duration of the week
- DVC+ get 3 weekly boosters
- All of these types of boosters will stack on one another, except for ones from the crate
- Can stack global and personal boosters
- Purchasing a personal booster from the store will allow you to pick which ride it’s for, but those gotten in-game will be for random rides
Minigames
- Minigame ideas brainstorming in thread in #meeting-chat
- Lots of fun Disney maps for the games in progress!
- One lobby, anytime the game ends it will be available and a DVC+ can start hosting a new one
- Eventually, there will be more lobbies so you can make private party games (later, will not be released with everything else)
- One minigame that’s coming soon: Red light, green light
- On Main Street, banners will turn red and green (do not fear, this will be colorblind friendly)
- The goal: quick party games to play and then move on to a new round
Chatting about future plans
- Mouske wants to work on Animation Academy because that would be cute but. no promises on it coming soon
- Perhaps parades too but lighting in Minecraft is scary
- New merch dropping soon??
- Matt discovered a way to make it so the player is locked to face forward in a ride (will be toggleable)
- Pin boards/pin trading (“take a pin, leave a pin”) always in the works on the long-term back burner
- Actual pin books releasing at some point
- Place a pin in the book to “collect” it
- Potential small prize for collecting everything, like a title or something
- You will be able to change the pins that are in your pin book
IF+ (coming August 3rd)
- No longer based on you needing to have DVC, just adds a + to the end of your current rank name
- Do not get all of DVC perks
- Most DVC+ perks will move over to all IF+ players, but speed may be moved to DVC
- New perks:
- First person ride POVs on many coasters!!!!
- Ability to use /afk on all servers
- Won’t display in chat, but will show in tab (and potentially above your head)
- Ability to raffle items using /raffle
- New command to raffle off an item to online players and randomly draw winners
- Exclusive above-head chat bubbles when you speak in public chat (/settings)
- 5% shop discount -> In-game shop items will cost 5% less for you!
- 3x 6hr random ride boosters (1.3x) (redeemable weekly)
- Custom spawn location (any warp)
- Same price, available for more length options, probably 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year packages
- Removing the 2x monthly unique items
- Exclusive prize for those who had DVC+ prior to the switch to IF+
What do people want to see next?
- Toggle-able setting for confirm button on Magic Crate
- Characters that just walk around and get on rides (during their releases)
- New crate animation perhaps?
- Revamp of VIP pins perhaps
Questions
- Will Mojang’s chat reporting system come to IF?
- No, we backport (support older versions) so we won’t be able to support this 1.20 feature
- What will the maximum amount of boosters be?
- However many categories are available, you can stack one of each type of category of booster (e.g. vote booster, personal booster, …)
- Where’s the Retro server been?
- There have been some technical issues but it’ll be back soon (not down because of PotC)
- Will you be able to spectate minigames if you’re joining late?
- If you get eliminated from a game you will be able to spectate, not sure if there’ll be a way to spectate if you were late to join
- Will there be a player limit to minigames?
- Goal is to support as many people in a minigame as possible
- If I buy DVC+ now and make it an auto-renewal, will it automatically switch to IF+?
- Yes, if you have a subscription now you will not need to cancel it
- What is Cam’s favorite color?
- Blue.
