General

• We’re kind of in a lil recovery period from all the winter stuff, so not a ton today

Hotels Update

• We’ve decided to do open beta in 1.12.2 instead of 1.17, since we’re still having some trouble with the 1.17 side of things

• Open beta should start within the next 7 days

• Plan is that when hotels actually launch they’ll be in 1.17

Quests

• We’ve started working on our first choose-your-own-adventure quest!

• 8 possible pathways to completion in this one!

Hub Update

• It is being worked on and still on the way, but we’re going to keep it secret for now

• Mouske is literally building it as we speak!!

• Only leak: it’s got a train

Vote Rewards

• When you vote, you earn a 1.25x multi for 15 minutes
• The timing stacks to almost 2 hours of multipliers

• It is separate from the specific ride ones which you activate, it’s always counting from when you’re online after voting

• Might increase the time it’s on during events

• Will potentially do a vote reward where, if you vote a certain amount of times in the month, you get a store gift card (~$5-10)
• Vote keys remain in addition to these rewards

Upcoming Discord Bot!

• Will allow you to check leaderboards from discord!

• Will add support for more stats in the future, but just leaderboards for now!

• QUESTION: Would you like a public version of this bot that you can add to your own servers?
• Seems like a yes, Cam will see what he can do!

Rank Notes

• Extended the grace period on legacy rank notes expiring, but that is ending now

• You have until the end of the month to use/sell legacy rank notes before they expire

• New ones will have counters on them to show when they’re expiring

Ride Updates

• No updates on rides, sorry!

• Have actively been working on Monsters Inc.
• Don’t worry, it’s not getting the Small World treatment

Pixel Artist Update!!

• His first task was to create icons for each of the rides

• Will use them for Discord top rider roles and embeds, going to make the Discord prettier and hopefully make them into Discord emote size for people to use too

Questions

• Can we maybe expect a newswire to be announced in the coming months will some new things planned to come to IF e.g hotels, maybe and update on monsters inc, possible reopen date for pirates etc?

• When the time comes, will the whole spawn be reverted to the classic blank slate that it was beforehand or will it be unfestiveised?

• When Toontown reopens IRL, will it be a high priority to build the new Toontown on IF, and will Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway get into production before the rest of the land?

• It’s coming, Cam swears! There were so many issues with it right before Christmas, and Cam is working through them to make sure everyone gets correctly tiered items. Hopefully in the next few days.

• Not at the moment, it is a long-term goal that had a lot of weird complications

• It’s spring

• What can players expect to receive from the top weekly rider prize boxes? Also, if a player is a top weekly rider on several rides, will they receive one for each ride they were top on? (Squarish)
• Haven’t finalized how all of it is going to work, so don’t have an answer to either but are having discussions about it

• Will party multis come back?
• Not sure, going to slowly keep replacing them with global multis and vote multis
• If it ever came back it would be capped a lot lower

• Will Haunted Mansion Holiday get extended like IRL at Disneyland or will it precisely turn back to normal on January 6th (Holiday)
• By coincidence, will be extended for other circumstances — until towards the end of January-ish, maybe February

• Any updates on the DCA Cannonball run?
• No, sorry ): So much going on right now — issues with the ride system Cam needs to work through first. Hoping for February but not sure

• Are you guys gonna make any other Disney parks? (Matthew)
• Never say never, but it’s not in the plans at the moment

• Will pins from insiders meetings happen
• Yes, Cam forgot about it but will do it today

• After you'll finish this park what would you like to do? Unofficially just personal preferences
• Mouske says DisneySea or Epcot would be cool, Cam loves Disneyland Paris but not sure what non-theme park-wise

• will we be getting the enchanted valentines launcher and flamethrower again this year? Or will you be making something new. I know both of those items are very rare rn and I wasn’t sure if you would keep them that way or re release them???
• Undecided but always open to new ideas that don’t involve launchers

• Will there be any effects added to the Blue Candy Staff and Hanukkah Staff?
• Going to put in the effects, something went wrong!!

• Could we have a minigame server? ever since they were released it feels like they’ve been forgotten about a bit. a little hub that leads to each game that you could just play whenever instead of just something from a command most people can’t use/forget about would be pretty nice
• Have played around with the idea of a little “game” area, definitely something we’re discussing and actively considering

• What is your favorite gift you got this holiday?
• Cam’s is a really nice keychain that Godsgiftt gave him with a picture of his dog in it and his second favorite gift is that Depped left him alone (this is a joke), Mouske’s favorite was a Scorbunny plush and a model train of E.P. Ripley from DL, Portal’s was a D&D cookbook

• Idk if it’s been talked about but can we slow down on launchers in 2023….I love them but it’s getting over saturated atm imo
